The New York City Police Pension Fund alone determines credited service, final average salary, eligibility dates and the amount of any benefit. Payroll alone determines your pay. Where the app's reading of a rule is not confirmed in writing it says so on screen. Do not make a retirement, separation, promotion or financial decision on the app's figures without confirming them with the Fund, your union or a professional you engage.
